An escape from reality itself
A collection of stories and excerpts from conversation, relatives’ comments and from journals about it – in many cases – invisible disease.
Nothing to hide examines how (or if) a person can take a break from mental illness. Can we get help from a pseudonym? Can we hide it behind a wig? Can we forget about it by visiting places? If we wear someone else’s clothes then?
Continued work can be seen (here of course, but also) on Instagram under #edithsmjol.
Nothing to hide is also an embryo for digital service Spetal whose purpose is to talk emotionally anonymously. The project is not done but is expected to be launched in 2019. Get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to make it true.
